Step back in time at the Delaware History Museum & Mitchell Center for African American Heritage where we will embark on an exciting journey through shopping history with your young friends and family. Discover History Saturdays include hands-on activities, crafts, story time, and more!

This month you and your young historians can:

– “Shop” the Sears & Roebuck 1897 Catalogue

– Handle household items and children’s toys from over 100 years ago

– Discover shopping through history on Market Street

Experience included with regular admission; members of the Delaware Historical Society always get in FREE for “Discover History Saturday.”
