The Delaware Juneteenth Association (DEJA) is celebrating 30 years with this year’s festival at Tubman-Garrett Park on Saturday, June 15 at 12 p.m.

Delaware Historical Society’s Mitchell Center for African American Heritage is sponsoring a drum and dance performance by Camara Arts at the 2024 Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration in the park. The Mitchell Center will also provide a necklace crafting activity and information table.
