Join the Mitchell Center for African American Heritage for a morning of Historic R&R at the original site of Zoar ME Church in Odessa. The Mitchell Center, Friends of Zoar, and community volunteers will engage in conversation about the historic significance of the church as we work to clean and care for the site.

Our Restore and Remember: Historic R&R program engages community members to volunteer at important sites within Delaware’s Black community, providing gardening, repairs, light maintenance, and cleaning, while discussing and learning about the history of each place and the people who used it.
