The Delaware Historical Society preserves objects made, used, owned, or collected by Delawareans from the earliest days of settlement to the present.

A small percentage of these treasures is on display in the Society's permanent and changing exhibitions.  Many furnish the Read House & Gardens in New Castle, Delaware. Large groups of items often form the basis of temporary exhibitions.

To see some of the Society's collections, visits the objects sections of Ask Caesar, the Society's online catalog.
