Please note: the DHS Research Library will operate on a modified summer schedule through September 14, 2018 to accommodate new leadership and restructuring. Library staff will continue to assist visitors and provide reference, image reproduction, and research services during this time. We appreciate your interest, and look forward to resuming our regular hours in the fall.

New Directions in African American History: Discussion and Book Signing with Toni Tipton-Martin
Delaware History Museum

James Beard Book Award-winning author Toni Tipton-Martin will discuss her new book, The Joy of African American Cooking. It includes 500 recipes adapted from The Jemima Code, which examines the presence of black women in cookbooks and journalism as the creators and communicators of the traditions of soul food.
