: The Delaware Historical Society Research Library will be closed January 2 through March 1, 2019 for maintenance and special projects. While staff are unable to accept online research requests during this period, researchers can access our online catalog,
AskCaesar. For your convenience, the library will remain open at the following times:

Mondays beginning January 28 , 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, January 19 and Saturday, February  16, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In celebration of the Martin Luther King Holiday, join the Mitchell Center for African American Heritage at the Delaware History Museum to learn more about the history of the civil rights movement, and the impact students made on American society by organizing against racism.Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) veteran activist Joan Trumpauer Mulholland will conduct a screening and discussion of the documentary about her experiences in the Civil Rights Movement, An Ordinary Hero.
