Family Saturday_Marble MadnessCold weather making you lose your marbles? Visit the Delaware History Museum for an entertaining family program all about marbles! Design, create, test, repeat! Learn about engineering skills and put them to use creating your own marble maze with Delaware Children’s Museum educators. Practice your marble playing skills (no experience necessary). Participate in Storytime as Museum educators read “The Box of Red Marbles” and “Grandpa is Losing his Marbles”.

Included with museum admission:
Adults: $6.00
Seniors (65+)/Military/Student (with i.d.): $5.00
Children (3-18): $4.00

On-street parking is FREE on weekends.
FREE PARKING is also available courtesy of Colonial Parking on the corner of 6th and Shipley streets.

Description

The Delaware History Museum (1940) was originally a Woolworth's Department Store. It has been transformed into the Delaware History Museum and the Jane and Littleton Mitchell Center for African American Heritage. It features permanent and rotating exhibitions, classrooms, and meeting space.
