Time capsule _ Delaware Historical Society

Have you ever wondered what a time capsule of Delaware’s history would look like?

Well, you are in luck; for 150 years the Delaware Historical Society has collected and preserved Delaware objects, manuscripts, and images!  We invite you and your family to compare and contrast life from generation to generation using objects from our collection. Join us in learning how to create and properly store items in a time capsule.

Collection tours will be offered on the hour to provide you and your family (ages 8 and up) the unique opportunity to peek into our immense time capsule housed in the basement of our library.
Please call (302) 655-7161 to reserve a time for collection tour.

Do not miss out; this only happens once every 150 years!

Lemonade and cookies provided!
