New Directions in African American History Series

New Directions in African American History Series

The New Directions in African American History Series addresses the ways that African American culture has changed over time from an interdisciplinary perspective.  We invite you to explore with us the different ways in which black history and black culture inform our appreciation of America’s past and our understanding of America’s present, as well as the ways in which this history and culture can influence America’s future.
