In early America, Christmas was a controversial holiday marked by religious disagreement and raucous celebrations in the streets. But things were changing in the early 19th century. Stop by the Read House for a special holiday tour with vignettes of Christmastime in the 1820s and beyond!   Join us for this brand-new seasonal tour!


Wednesday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sunday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Tours on the hour. Last tour begins at 3 p.m.
