The Jane and Littleton Mitchell Center for African American Heritage was named in honor of two Delawareans who worked tirelessly for civil rights for the disenfranchised. The Mitchell Center collects, preserves and presents for public enrichment the history and heritage of Delaware's African Amerians. To schedule a group tour, please call (302) 295-2401.

The Delaware History Museum was originally a Woolworth's Department Store, the building has been transformed into the Delaware History Museum and the Jane and Littleton Mitchell Center for African American Heritage. It feaures the permanent exhibition, Delaware: One State, Many Stories, rotating exhibitions, classroom and meeting space. To schedule a group tour, please call (302) 295-2401.

Wilmington's Old Town Hall, constructed in 1798, is also open to groups by special appointment.  It served as the center of political and social activities during the early nineteenth century. 

The Read House & Gardens in historic New Castle, is a federal mansion surrounded by one-and-a-half acres of formal gardens. Seasonal adornments make the house an enchanting place to visit throughout the year.  To schedule a tour, please call 302-295-3284.
